What this poem says
The poet here gives voice to a state of rapture and passion. He finds himself in a ruined place, given over there to wine, joy, and quiet supplication. He is free of every hope and fear, untroubled by the material world or the elements of nature. His sense of freedom and release in the face of hardship and pain is plain to see.
A prose synopsis, not a translation of the verse. Translated from Ganjoor’s machine-generated Persian summary.
